Vincent Johnson

Vincent M. Johnson 1943-2006 Vincent M. Johnson, age 62, died at his home, Friday, March 10, 2006 in Coffeyville, Kansas. Vincent was born July 17, 1943 to Henry Johnson and Hercules M. Joyner Johnson in Coffeyville, Kansas. Vincent loved people, music, art and the beautiful things produced by nature. He spent his earlier years expressing his love for both, in his painting. As an artist, he tried capturing, on canvas, the many conditions and lives of mankind. He completed his education in Coffeyville, Kansas by obtaining a Liberal Arts Degree. He extended his education at Wichita State University. Many relatives, friends and neighbors were and are still touched by his generosity and genuine love for all of Gods creation. Survivors include: One Sister: Shirley D. Johnson Sanders and husband James of Lorton, VA One Brother: Perry T. Johnson of San Diego, CA One Aunt, Several Nieces and Nephews and Cousins. Preceded in death by: His Parents, one sister Earline J. Allen. Calling hours will be from 8am-8pm, Wednesday, March 15, 2006 at the Penwell-Gabel Ford-Wulf-Bruns Chapel in Coffeyville. Family will receive friends from 7pm-8pm. Funeral Services will be held 1:00pm, Thursday, March 16, 2006 at the First Assembly of God Church in Coffeyville, Kansas. Reverend James Crandall will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Penwell-Gabel Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery.
