VirgilHarry Orms, 47, of Coffeyville, Kansas passed away Sunday, March 20, 2011 at his home. Harry was born on August 14, 1963 in Coffeyville, Kansas to Virgil Lee and Alice Coleene Orms Riley. He grew up in the Coffeyville area and attended local schools. Harry drove a truck hauling cattle, he worked for a couple local gas stations, and he worked as an appliance repairman for Bill Houser Appliances for 15 years and Mike McClellan Appliances for about 7 years. Harry was known to be quite a handyman. On October 16, 1981 he was married to Cynthia Adams Orms. Of that union two children were born. The couple later divorced. Harry attended church at the Free Will Baptist Church in Copan, Oklahoma. He enjoyed riding horses and participating in the Edna RideUp club, dancing, cars, mowing lawns and most of all time with his family especially the grandchildren. Survivors include his companion, Jana Nicholas of the home children, Jessica Bean and husband, Anthony of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, V. Lee Orms of Denver, Colorado, Aubree and Makayla Nicholas of the home mother, Alice Riley of Coffeyville, Kansas brothers, V. Eugene Riley and wife, Lynn of Nebraska, Steve Riley and wife, Carol of Vinita, Oklahoma sisters, Sharon Conner and husband Eddie of Chetopa, Kansas, Teresa Carpenter and husband John of Dearing, Kansas, Linda Smith and husband, Ronnie of Wichita, Kansas, Nina Lee and Christine Riley both of Coffeyville, Kansas grandchildren, Benjamin Anthony Bean, Addyson Kennedy Bean, Patrick Harrison Bean and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Virgil Lee Riley sisters, Diana Douglas and Ruby Riley. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 26, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. at the Free Will Baptist Church in Copan, Oklahoma.
