VIRGINIA SUE DAVIS 1939-2005 Virginia Sue Davis, age 65, of Coffeyville, Kansas passed away Friday, August 5, 2005 at the Windsor Place in Coffeyville. She was born December 9, 1939 in Bisbee, Arizona to William and Aletha Alford. She married James Davis in June of 1960. She was a homemaker. Her hobbies included Bible studies and Christian prison ministries throughout Kansas and Oklahoma. She is survived by five sons, Steve Davis and wife Shannon of Neelyville, Missouri, Bradley Davis of El Cajon, California, Michael Davis and wife Deborah of Fresno, California, Christopher Davis of Pittsburg, Kansas and Anthony Davis of Parsons, Kansas; two daughters, Rhonda Bauschlicher and husband Douglas of Kennett, Missouri and Geri Lynn Wuerdeman and husband Ron of Pittsburg, Kansas; ten grandchildren, Ryan Davis, Ryan Bauschlicher, Luke Davis, Nicholas Wuerdeman, Jenna Davis, Justin Wuerdeman, Zane Davis, Makenzi Davis, Kristen Davis and Brock Davis; one sister, Dr. Shirley Mayfield of El Cerrito, California and one brother, Gary Alford of Mesilla Park, New Mexico. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband James. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, August 7, 2005 at the Spring Hill Cemetery, north of Coffeyville with Reverend Johhny Lockaby officiating.
