WalterBing Crosbie Willis WalterBing Crosbie Willis went to be in the comforting arms of the Lord he loved on October 26, 2006. He was born on February 24, 1945 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to parents, Walter B. amp; Anna L. Crosbie Willis. He graduated from Will Rogers High School and received his B. S. degree in Forestry from Oklahoma State University in 1968. He and Cathy Tongier were married and moved to Lebanon, Oregon. He was an Eagle Scout. In the next years he worked in the timber industry, owned a feed store, worked a four-acre garden at his home to sell produce at farmers markets. The last few years he worked for Midway Plumbing in Albany, Oregon. He was an avid hunter and last winter shot his first white-tailed deer. He shared his fathers love of gardening and his mothers love of flowers and he won awards for both. In 2005, Bing and Cathy moved to Coffeyville where Cathys family lives and to be closer to his sister. His sister, Suanne Sneed, husband, Carl, and children, Austin and Apryl and Apryls children, son, Alex and daughter, McKayln King live in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Bing had a special ministry with his camera. Church and family gatherings were well documented and he made sure that everyone was emailed the pictures to keep everyone close. He was preceded in death by his parents and will be missed and mourned by his family always. Services will be Tuesday, October 31, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. at the First Presbyterian Church in Coffeyville. Pastor Larry Cracraft will be officiating. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Coffeyville. Mr. Willis will lie in state on Monday, October 30, 2006 from 9 a.m. until 9 p.m. Family will receive friends from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at Penwell-Gabel Ford-Wulf-Bruns Chapel, 2405 Woodland Avenue, Coffeyville.
