WANDA Y. HAWTHORNE 1928-2005 Wanda Y. Hawthorne, age 76, of Coffeyville, Kansas passed away early Monday morning, August 29, 2005 at the St. John Medical Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was born October 28, 1928 in Edna, KS to William Bill Triebel and Mable Bennett Triebel. She married Jack L. Hawthorne on May 10, 1948 in Bartlesville, OK. He preceded her in death. Wanda loved to read, play cards and work crossword puzzles. She was a very family oriented person. She loved to center her life around her family and grandchildren. Wanda will be greatly missed by her family and friends. She is survived by: 2 Sons: Leonard W. Hawthorne of Coffeyville. William T. Hawthorne and wife Diana Kay of Coffeyville. 2 Brothers and 11 Sisters. 4 Granddaughters and 6 Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 Brothers and 1 Sister. Visitation will be held from 8am-8pm, Friday, September 2, 2005 at the Penwell-Gabel Ford-Wulf-Bruns Chapel, 2405 Woodland Ave., in Coffeyville. Family will receive friends from 7pm-8pm at the Chapel. Funeral Services will be held at 2pm, Saturday, September 3, 2005 at the Penwell-Gabel Ford-Wulf-Bruns Chapel, 2405 Woodland Ave., in Coffeyville. Pastor Eddie Greenfield will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Penwell-Gabel Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Coffeyville. Arrangements are under the direction of the Penwell-Gabel Ford-Wulf-Bruns Chapel.
