William Berryman

William S. Billy Berryman II 1951 - 2006 William S. Billy Berryman II, 54, Coffeyville, passed away Friday, January 13, 2006, at Coffeyville Regional Medical Center. He was born September 18, 1951, in Parsons, Kansas the son of Chandler Price and Dorothy Butin Berryman. Billy was a special person of God and was a joy and blessing to all who knew him. He worked for many years at the Home Lumber and Supply Company in Coffeyville. He also worked for St. Francis of Assisi School in Wichita, Kansas. Until recently, he was active in the Faith and Light Group at Holy Name Catholic Church in Coffeyville. Billy enjoyed riding his motorbike to all parts of Coffeyville with frequent stops for ice cream, frozen yogurt and Oreo Cookies. He is survived by three sisters: Barbara Kidwell of Coffeyville; Jean Jamison of Eudora, Kansas and Coralie Forsee of Fulton, Missouri. He was preceded in death by his parents. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place 10:00 a.m., Thursday, January 19, at Holy Name Catholic Church in Coffeyville with Fr. Jerome Spexarth officiating. Burial will follow the service at the Fredonia City Cemetery in Fredonia, Kansas. Billy will lie in state from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 18 at Penwell-Gabel Ford-Wulf-Bruns Funeral Home with the family receiving friends from 6-8:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested contributions to Faith and Light in care of Holy Name Catholic Church or the funeral home.
