William Jacob Gray April 7, 1934 October 3, 2006 William Jacob Gray, age 72, Coffeyville, Kansas resident entered into rest on October 3, 2006 at the St. John Medical Center, Tulsa, Oklahoma. William was born April 7, 1934 in Lenapah, Oklahoma to Archie and Faye Gray. He was a 1952 graduate of Lenapah High School. He served in the United States Navy. On November 29, 1952 he married Rosalea Osborn at Nowata, Oklahoma. Following their marriage the couple lived a short time in Norfolk, Virginia before Mr. Gray was honorably discharged from the U.S. Navy and they returned to Coffeyville. She preceded him in death on July 5, 1995. William retired from CRMC in 1994 with over 20 years of service in the maintenance dept. One son, Randy Gray, Disney, Ok.; Five daughters, Sherry McGinnis, So. Coffeyville, Ok.; Regina Baze, Coffeyville, Ks.; Debby Thaxton, Wann, Ok.; Brenda Talbott, Coffeyville, Ks; Tina Herriman, Coffeyville, Ks. One brother, Buster Gray, Little Rock, Ar.; Three sisters, Peanut King, Little Rock, Ar.; Joyce Stanton, Little Rock, Ar.; Maxine Kunkel, Phoenix, Az. 15 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by his son, Marty Gray, parents, one brother, Kenny Gray and one sister, Dorothy Edwards. Calling hoursVisitation: Mr. Gray will lie in state from 9:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 5, 2006. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Penwell-Gabel Ford-Wulf-Bruns Chapel, 2405 Woodland Ave., Coffeyville, Ks. Graveside Services will be held 10:00 a.m., Friday, October 6, 2006 at the Penwell-Gabels Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Coffeyville, Ks. Dr. Wayne Norton of the First Baptist Church will be officiating. Family and friends will gather at the graveside prior to services.
