WilliamBill J. Gregory, Jr. 1922 2007 WilliamBill J. Gregory, Jr., age 84, entered into rest on March 22, 2007 at the St. Johns Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma. William was born June 19, 1922 in Louisville, Kentucky to William J. Gregory, Sr. amp; Anna Hoffman Gregory. He graduated from Manual High School in 1940. WilliamBill served in the US Army during WWII. He moved to Ft. Pierce, Florida in 1951 and is remembered for runningGregorys Texaco at U.S. 1 and Boston Avenue. In March 1968 he married his 2nd wife, Louise Argyle. The couple moved to Coffeyville, Kansas in 1984, moving to Tulsa in 1997. She preceded him in death August 13, 2001. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Betty, 2 brothers, George amp; Jack Gregory and 1 sister Mary Catherine. Survivors include two sons, Ken Gregory, Ocala, Florida; Kevin Gregory, Tulsa, Oklahoma; one daughter, JoAnn Gregory, Fort Pierce, Florida. 3 grandchildren He was a member of the Community United Methodist Church, and also worked at the St. Lucie County Courthouse as a maintenance Engineer. Family has suggested memorial contributions may be given to Alzheimers Association in lieu of flowers co Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home. Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday, March 31, 2007 at the Penwell-Gabels Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, 2000 Woodland Ave., Coffeyville, Kansas. Penwell-Gabel Ford-Wulf-Bruns Funeral Home, 2405 Woodland Ave., Coffeyville, KS 67337 are in care of the family arrangements.
