William Ray Bill Kallenberger, 81, went to meet his Savior, December 19, 2008. He was a loving husband, father, uncle, borther-in-law and friend. Bill was born August 17, 1927 to Walter and Alma Hall Kallenberger at Coffeyville, Kansas. He lived in the Bartlett and Hawkins areas. Bill graduated from Edna High School in 1945, where he played football. He married Darlene Greenfield who later preceded him in death. The Kallenbergers lovingly adopted two wonderful sons. Bill would later marry Irma Garner Morris on March 19, 1988 at Coffeyville. He ran Grade A Dairy, farmed, worked for Funk Mfg.John Deere and part-time at Windsor Place Care Center. Bill was also a member of the National Guard. His hobbies include boating, fishing and woodworking. He created many gifts for family and friends with his woodworking skills. Bill was a member of Eastside Baptist Church in South Coffeyville, Oklahoma. Survivors include his wife, Irma, of the home; sons, Kevin Kallenberger of Halstead, Kansas and Gary Kallenberger and his wife, Jennifer of Topeka, Kansas; one daughter, Le Ann Noland of Bartlesville, Oklahoma and five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife; by a brother, Wayne Kallenberger and a grandson, Colten Kallenberger. Funeral services will be 10 a.m., Monday, December 22, 2008 at Emmanuel Southern Baptist Church, with Rev. Wayne Martin officiating. Interment will be in Coffeyvilles Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Penwell-Gabel Ford-Wulf-Bruns Chapel. Friends may call at the funeral home 1-5 p.m., Sunday and the family will receive friends from 2-3 p.m. Family suggests that friends who wish may make donations to the American Diabetes Association in care of the funeral home.
