William Llewellyn

William Harley (Bill) Llewellyn I was born June 11, 1950 in Kansas City, Missouri, to Sarah Katherine (Heagan) and William Howard Llewellyn. He was raised in North Eastern and Central Missouri.

He married the love of his life, Sandra Louise (Butler), of Excelsior Springs, Missouri, in 1970 and they had three children: Kellie Masheal Tunstall (Tim), William Harley Llewellyn II, and Leslie Katherine Morrow (Nate). Bill and his family moved to Coffeyville, Kansas in 1978, where he was the superintendent over the city's waste water and water department. He was a Jehovah's Witness and a lifelong member of the Kingdom Hall.

Bill's favorite things included: his cats, elephants, fishing (and eating fish), all kinds of outdoor activities, and helping friends, neighbors, family and anyone he could including any and all animals. He always kept in touch with even the most distant relatives, as family and God were the most important things in his life.

He passed away March 26, 2017, at his son's home in Coffeyville. He will be remembered as a beloved husband, brother, dad, papa, and friend. He was preceded in death by his parents and step-father.
Left to remember him are; his wife, Sandra, his brothers, James and Allen, his sister Diana, his children, his grandchildren Jessica, Kimberly, Tyler, and Emily, a grandson-in-law, Travis Gray, his cat, Dexter, and his entire congregation.

Honoring Bill's wishes, cremation has taken place under the direction of Ford-Wulf-Bruns Chapel and a memorial service will be held Saturday, April 1, 2017, at the Coffeyville Kansas Kingdom Hall at 2:00pm. The family suggests memorials be made to the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness and they may be sent in care of Ford-Wulf-Bruns Chapel 2405 Woodland Ave, Coffeyville, KS 67337.
