WilliamMac G. McCullough, Jr. 1947 2006 WilliamMac G. McCullough, Jr., age 58, entered into rest on August 7, 2006 at his residence in Coffeyville, Kansas. He was born November 19, 1947 in Coffeyville, Kansas to William G. McCullough, Sr. and Wanda Comstock McCullough. He graduated from Field Kindley Memorial High School, Coffeyville, Kansas. He also attended the Coffeyville Vo-Tech completing 3 different course studies. On March 1, 1996 he married Shirley Therrien in Coffeyville, Kansas. She survives of the home. Mr. McCullough served in the Army of the United States and served three tours in the Vietnam War where he was a tail gunner. He was honorably discharged as a Tech Sgt. He also served in the US Army National Guard. After he was honorably discharged he worked as an Underwater sea welder for several years. He later worked for Campbells Soup Company out of Texas. He was a lifetime member of VFW Post 1022 of Coffeyville, Ks. and the DAV. His hobbies included hunting and fishing. Survivors include his wife, Shirley of the home in Coffeyville, Mother, Wanda McCullough, Coffeyville, Kansas 4 sons, William Howard, Kent Eugene and Jay Allen all of Junction City, Colorado; Jim Therrien, of Independence, Kansas. 1 step-daughter, Crystal Letterman, Bartlesville, Oklahoma; 2 step-sons, Tim Blake of Lakewood, Colorado and Alfred Therrien, Bartlesville, Oklahoma. 26 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren 2 sisters, Grace Burrows, Baxter Springs, Kansas amp; Anna Loffer, Grand Lake, Oklahoma; 1 brother, Mike McCullough, KC, Kansas. He was preceded in death by his father. Graveside services will be held 10:00 a.m., Thursday, August 10, 2006 at the Spring Hill Cemetery, Coffeyville, Kansas. Located N. on Cline Rd.. The family and friends will gather at the graveside prior to services. Pastor Phil Adams of the Church of the Brethren, Independence, Kansas will be officiating. Military Rites will be conducted by the VFW Post 1022, Coffeyville, Kansas. Memorial contributions may be given to the William G. McCullough Memorial Fund.
