William Arthur Morgan April 20, 1936 May 26, 2006 William Arthur Morgan, age 70, Joplin, Missouri entered into rest on Friday evening, May 26, 2006 at the St. John Medical Center, Joplin, Missouri. Mr. Morgan was born April 20, 1936 in Craig County, Oklahoma to William Clarence and Willie Elizabeth Maggard Morgan. He attended school in Craig County as a child and later Labette County High School, Altamont, Kansas. Mr. Morgan was a farmer in the Craig County area. He also worked at the Morgan Oil Company in Edna, Kansas. Survivors include: One Brother, Eugene Morgan Jo, So. Coffeyville, Ok.; One sister-in-law, Earlene Morgan, Edna, Ks.; 12 nieces and nephews; 3 great nieces and 1 great nephew. He was preceded in death by his parents, One brother, Floyd Morgan. Calling hoursVisitation: Mr. Morgan will lie in state on Tuesday, May 30, 2006 from 9:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the Penwell-Gabel Ford-Wulf-Bruns Chapel, Coffeyville, KS. Family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, May 31, 2006 at the First Baptist Church, Edna, Kansas.
