William Troy Billy Rex Coffeyville resident, William Troy Billy Rex entered into eternal rest on Sunday, June 24, 2007 in Coffeyville after a battle with cancer. He was 22. Billy was born August 10, 1984 in Coffeyville, Kansas to Truman Eugene Gene and Debbie Miller Rex. He grew up in Coffeyville and graduated from Field Kindley Memorial High School in 2003. He worked at McDonalds and also Bridges Community Care and was active in Buddy Ball through the Coffeyville City Recreation. Billy also enjoyed camping and spending time with his friends and family. He is survived by his loving family; parents, Truman Gene Rex and Debbie Rex, both of the home; siblings, Truman Rex, Edith Wilson, Christy Rex, Thomas Rex and wife, Nikki, all of Coffeyville; aunts and uncles, Robert Miller, Thomas Leroy Miller, Patty Ward, Sandy Wilson, Bobby Rex and Roselyn Jones; nieces, Candy, Brittany, Sarah and Mariah; grandmother, Deloris Miller, also of Coffeyville. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Tommy Ray Miller, Margaret Ann Miller, Herman Rex and Pauline Rex and sister, Rosie Pauline Rex. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday, June 27, 2007 from 9 am-9 pm to sign the guest register. The family will greet friends Wednesday evening from from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 28, 2007 in the Spring Hill Cemetery, north of Coffeyville. Pastor Kevin OConnor will officiate. Services are under the direction of the Penwell-Gable Ford-Wulf-Bruns Funeral Home of Coffeyville.
