Wilma Weinberg

Wilma Aileen Alter Weinberg, 91, of Lawrence, Kansas and long time resident of Coffeyville, Kansas died Monday, February 8, 2010 at the Brandon Woods at Alvamar in Lawrence, Kansas. She was born October 7, 1918 in Kansas City, Missouri, the daughter of Max and Ann Cohen Alter. Mrs. Weinberg was a homemaker and had worked at Weinbergs Western Wear, a family business, in Coffeyville, Kansas. She was married to Maurice Weinberg on February 11, 1940 in Coffeyville, Kansas. He preceded her in death on January 1, 2005. She is survived by three sons, Jeff Weinberg and wife Mary, of Lawrence, Kansas, Thomas Weinberg of Haiku, Hawaii, and Michael Weinberg of Grove, Oklahoma four grandchildren, and one greatgranddaughter. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, February 13, 2010, with Father Jerry Adinolfi officiating, at PenwellGabel FordWulfBruns Chapel followed with interment in Fairview Cemetery in Coffeyville, Kansas.
