Winifred Neal

Winifred Arlene Neal Winifred Arlene Neal, of Coffeyville, died Thursday, December 21, 2006 in Coffeyville at her daughters residence. She was 75 years old. Mrs. Neal was born March 7, 1931 in Cofffeyville to Arthur Dwight and Pearl Sandlin Livingston. Winifred graduated from Field Kindley High School and later attended business college. On August 15, 1950 she married Terry Ray Neal in Yuma, Arizona. They were married for 47 years before his death on November 20, 1997. Mrs. Neal was a homemaker and mother of nine. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in South Coffeyville. She was also a lifetime member and past president of the P.T.A. as well as being a leader for the Girl Scouts. Survivors include five sons, Dan Neal and wife, Marilyn, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Don Neal, also of Tulsa, Noah, Lynn and Stewart Neal and wife Donna, all of Coffeyville; two daughters, Anna Young and husband, Edward, and Sally Neal and her companion Stony Tosh, both of Coffeyville Two sisters, Faye Patterson of Coffeyville and Evelyn Donaldson of San Diego, California. Eleven grandchildren, grandsons, Ian, Brandon, Terry and Shane; granddaughters, Audrey, Nicki, Ashley, Deidra, Chelsea, Casey and Alesha and one great-grandson, Jordon Ray and two great granddaughters. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a son, James Howard Neal; a daughter, Jane Kay Neal; and a brother, Howard W. Livingston. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 27, 2006 at Penwell-Gabel Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Coffeyville, Kansas. Services are under the direction of the Penwell-Gabel Ford-Wulf-Bruns Funeral Home of Coffeyville. Friends may call on Tuesday, December 26, 2006, from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. at the funeral home to sign the guest book. Memorial contributions may be made to the Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice.
